Description

A faithful conversion of the original cave crawling treasure hunt, as the name suggests, this is a port of Crowther & Woods' ADVENTURE to Native Client, a means of interpreting source code through the Chrome web browser.

The game presents a static text window in which output text appears, and provides one line for player input to be typed into. This being Colossal Cave Adventure, the kinds of brief, two-word commands the player inputs include movement of the player in cardinal directions, inventory management of useful objects and treasures for later stockpiling in the trophy room, navigation of maze rooms filled with twisty little passages, and the utterance of bizarre magic words.
